Visa Issuance

General Information Regarding UAE Visas
Visitors visiting Dubai may need one of several different types of visas. Overstaying tourists are subject to a daily fine of Dh 100. Airlines may check to determine if the sponsor has a valid visa for the inbound visitor for nationalities that need one.

Pacific Rim and Western Europe residents:
Free travel is available to citizens of the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Brunei, Singapore, Malaysia, the United Kingdom (with right of abode in the United Kingdom), France, Italy, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Finland, Spain, Monaco, Vatican City, Iceland, Andorra, San Marino, Liechtenstein, and the holders of passports issued by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

As far as Cyprus is concerned, it has been decided to delay the new regulation's implementation. They can stay for 60 days thanks to the visa. For a charge of Dhs 500, the visa is extendable for a maximum stay of 90 days. 96-hour Transit Passenger Visa.


Transit visitors who stop at Dubai International Airport for at least 8 hours and who complete the requirements listed below may be granted a 96-hour transit visa.

The following are these circumstances:

Only airlines provided sponsorship   Applications must have a confirmed reservation for travel to a third place. The passport or other document must be valid for at least three months for those travelling by transit, those with special permits, or those on a visit or mission.

American Germans:
German citizens (tourists and business people) can apply for a one- or two-year multiple-entry visa at the UAE embassy in Germany. A sponsor is not necessary. Visa holders should not stay longer than three months total per year. There is a Dhs 1,500 visa cost.

US residents:
US residents can apply for one- to ten-year multiple-entry visas at the UAE embassies in the US. This includes both tourists and business travellers. The visa must have a sponsor, and it is free of charge. The maximum length of stay per visit should not exceed six months.

AGCC Residents:
Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, and the other members of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council are exempt from the requirement for a visa.

AGCC Residents:
A non-renewable 30-day visa may be obtained by AGCC expatriate residents who meet specific requirements upon arrival at the authorised ports of entry. This visa is available to visitors who are entrepreneurs, business managers or representatives, auditors, accountants, doctors, engineers, or employees working in the public sector, as well as their family members, chauffeurs, and household staff who are sponsored by them. This sort of visa is not open to workers in the servant or labour categories.

Important Information:
Citizens of the following countries will be granted a visa on arrival at UAE airports if their stay is less than one month and they have visas or entry stamps from other countries:

For all other countries, a visa must be obtained prior to arrival by the embassy of that nation, a local sponsor in the UAE, or a lodging establishment in the area.

Required documentation:

  • Visa fees and a security deposit are required. An authorization letter signed by the cardholder, as well as a copy of the credit card used (front and back side).

  • Copies of the cardholder's and visitors' passports.

  • Please be aware that Dubai Immigration will reject any copies of documents, passports, or credit cards that are not clearly and in colour when submitted.

TRAVEL VISA
This visa is granted through travel agencies and is valid for 30 days. It cannot be extended or renewed. The tourist visa holder must pay a daily fine and additional fees for an exit pass if their stay exceeds 30 days.

Some passport holders are permitted entry into the UAE and a 30-day stay without first obtaining a visit visa.

Documents necessary:

  1. Passport photocopy of the guest

  2. The sponsoring company's completed and signed Visit Visa Application form.

  3. A copy of the business's trade licence

  4. A guarantee letter from the corporation stating the company's obligation for the guest throughout his visit.
